															AGNIVEER NAVY Consists of three categories:
1. AA (Artificer Apprentice)
2. SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit)
3. MR (Matric Recruit)
Indian Navy After 12th – AA & SSR
1. Eligibility Criteria

Note: Minimum marks of 60% aggregate may be required in class 12th for technical trades like AA.
2. Selection Procedure
The selection for AA & SSR includes three main stages:
Step 1 – Written Exam / Online Test (CBT)
- AA (Technical): Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English 
- SSR (Non-Technical): English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, Science basics 
- Duration: 1–2 hours 
- Objective type questions 
Step 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates who clear the written exam undergo a Physical Fitness Test, which includes:
- 1.6 km run (typically 7 minutes for males, 8 minutes for females) 
- Push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, and other agility exercises 
- Assessment of stamina, strength, and fitness 
Step 3 – Medical Examination
- Conducted at Navy medical centers 
- Checks overall physical and medical fitness, including vision, hearing, and chest expansion

Note: AA technical trades have stricter medical and vision requirements than SSR non-technical trades.
4. Training
Selected candidates undergo training at Indian Naval Training Establishments, which includes:
- Naval drills and discipline 
- Physical fitness and endurance 
- Trade-specific technical (AA) or non-technical (SSR) training 
- Teamwork, leadership, and skill development 
Training duration:
- AA: Approximately 1 year (technical training) 
- SSR: Approximately 6 months (basic naval and trade training) 
INDIAN NAVY AFTER 10TH
The Indian Navy provides exciting opportunities for 10th pass candidates through non-technical trades and the Agnipath scheme. These roles allow young aspirants to start a prestigious defence career, gain skills, and serve the nation.
1. Eligibility Criteria for 10th Pass

2. Available Trades for 10th Pass
- MR (Musician / Seaman Rating – Non-Technical) - General seaman duties onboard ships and naval bases 
- Includes roles in naval music 
 
- Agniveer MR (Agnipath Scheme – 10th Pass) - Short-term 4-year service 
- Non-technical roles on ships and naval establishments 
 
- Cook / Steward / Hygienist - Mess duties, food preparation, and hygiene management 
 
- General Seaman Rating (MR) - Operational and support duties onboard ships and at naval bases 
 
3. Selection Procedure
The selection for 10th pass Navy candidates includes three stages:
Step 1 – Written Exam / Online Test (CBT)
- Subjects: English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Reasoning 
- Duration: 1 hour 
- Objective-type questions 
Step 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run in 7–8 minutes 
- Push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups 
- Agility and endurance assessment 
Step 3 – Medical Examination
- Conducted at Navy medical centers 
- Ensures candidates meet physical and medical standards 
Candidates who clear all stages are selected for training at Indian Naval Training Establishments.

Training Duration: Approximately 6–9 months depending on trade.
